Where does the money go?

Modified on Wed, 22 Jul at 9:19 AM

Since selling our first ticket in 1972, the Mass Lottery has been a consistent source of funding for the Commonwealth and its 351 cities and towns. Retail sales support every community in Massachusetts in the form of unrestricted local aid, while online sales support grants for early childhood education and care.

In addition, the Lottery awards billions of dollars in prizes and provides a source of revenue for its retail partners. Learn more about where the money goes click here.
